Food:

Budgies eat small seeds  fruit insects green and things.

                      Breeding

Budgies fly from drier inland areas of Australia closer to the coastal parts to make nests in hollow trees or fences. The female lays 4-6 white roundish eggs in good rainy seasons. Budgies raise sets of chicks one after another.

The female  sits on the eggs which take about 18 days to hatch. The chicks are born without feathers and must be looked after carefully for a bout one month before they leave their nest. Both parents feed them tiny seeds into the tiny babies open beaks.
