A Memorial Cairn was unveiled by
Mr.W.H. Everard to commemorate the first discovery of gold in Victoria
by Louis J. Michel and party at Anderson’s Creek. Many people still
come here.
Fourth Hill Mine is in Warrandyte.
It is important to Warrandyte, because it was the first gold mine in
Warrandyte in the 1850's.
