Travelling downwards from Melbourne, it's a three
hour drive to get to Wilson's
Promontory. Wilson's Promontory covers 50,000 hectares of land. |
| The Islands vary in distance from Tidal river, with
the best diving area found at Shellback Island, 6 miles
away. Norman Island is closer at 3 miles, with the
Glennies at 4 miles. The best rock-hopper areas are Tongue Point, Leoard Point, Pillar Point and Norman Point. |

People visit Wilson's Promontory to stay there for a
holiday. There is a lot of wildlife, for example very friendly parrots flock around Tidal River. |
