Travelling downwards from Melbourne, it's a three hour drive to get to Wilson's Promontory.

Wilson's Promontory covers 50,000 hectares of land.

The Islands vary in distance from Tidal river, with the best diving area found at Shellback Island, 6 miles away. Norman Island is closer at 3 miles, with the Glennies at 4 miles.
The best rock-hopper areas are Tongue Point, Leoard Point, Pillar Point and Norman Point.
People visit Wilson's Promontory to stay there for a holiday.
There is a lot of wildlife, for example very friendly parrots flock around Tidal River.
The beaches are beautiful and the views spectacular. Diving is like entering into another world.
