WHAT CAN WE SEE PEOPLE DO ON THE RIVER?

We see them fish.

We see them canoe.

We see lots of people swim.

WHAT WILDLIFE DID WE

DISCOVER AT THE RIVER?

We discovered ducks.

We saw a parrot in a tree.

We knew there must be a kookaburra

there because we could hear it.

We saw a cockatoo. We saw a gold

beetle.

WHAT ACTIVITIES CAN PEOPLE DO IN THE RIVER?

People can swim backwards

and dive into the river.

They can canoe at the Yarra River.

They can have a swim.

They can jump on the rocks.

We like to play games when we are in the river.

WHAT DO PEOPLE DO AT THE RIVER?

People can ride their bikes at the river. They could play a game like, ‘Crocodile, Crocodile!’ People could have a picnic and they could feed the ducks. People could relax at the river.

CAN WE FIND EVIDENCE OF ANIMALS AT THE RIVER?

We can find bird evidence at the river. We can find horses hoof prints on the path. We can also find horse pooh on the path. We can find broken trees and bird pooh. Maybe we could find fossils if we had a good look.
