The sports we are doing are based on the rules and how the sports are played. These are our sports Soccer, Basketball, Boxing and Rugby League.

	The best soccer players out of Australia have made a team called the Soccer-Roos. The A.I.S will be holding some of the olympic soccer for the 2000 Olympics. The A.I.S has upgraded a stadium called Bruce Stadium. Bruce Stadium will hold 10 matches of soccer in the preliminary season. Every match that will be played at Bruce Stadium will be a double header which is a game of women's soccer and then men's soccer. Some of the rules in soccer are no hands are allowed to touch the ball besides the goaly and the players are not to make contact with the opposition.
	Throughout Australia boxing will be broadcasted in Sydney 2000 Olympic Games one of the favourit's for australia is koster zoo. Some of the rules are no punching under the waist and in the back of the head there are 1, 2 and 3 minute rounds. You can win a boxing match by TKO or win by points on how many punches have landed and how many have missed.
	Rugby league is played in Australia and overseas but rugby in Australia is known as (NRL) National Rugby League.They will get more money from Soccer and there will be better seats in Bruce stadium which will help with the rugby for the year 2000 and other sports in the Olympics.The premiers last year for the NRL was the Melbourne Storm. They won by 2 points against St George. The basics of rugby is if you score a try you get 4 points and if you get a goal you get 2 points but if it is a penalty try you go straight in front of the goal or if you put the ball under the post you go in front. If you pass the ball forward to one of your players it is a forward pass.If you drop the ball in front of you it is a knock on and the ball will go to the opposition.Once a person is tackled on you try line you will receive ball by the opposition team will kick the ball to you from under the goal . You have 5 tackles to get a try if you get tackled on your 6th tackle the ball goes to the other side.
	Australia has made the best Basketball team for the boys called the Boomers. The girls have made the best team called the Opals. Four years ago in the Olympics the U.S.A. Dream Team played the Australian Boomers in the Grand Final but the U.S.A. Dream Team beat the Australian Boomers. This year Andrew Gays is the Captain of the Boomers. The basic rules for basketball are you can only have five people on the court. If you hit the other team by accident they get a side ball but if you hit them when they're shooting they get two free throws from the fowl line. if you get it in from the three point line your team gets three points for your team. If you shoot in side the three point line you only get two points for your team. If you go over to your side of the court then go back on there side it's there side ball.
