Albert Park is set around Albert Park Lake which is
south of the city of Melbourne in Victoria. The track is
5.3km long and has a lot of sharp corners, blind spots
and a long straight. Heinz-Harald Frentzen is the man who
owns the Albert Park track record of 1:30.585, set in his Williams in 1997. That's an average speed of 210 kilometres an hour round one of the finest F1 circuits in the world. This year's Grand Prix at Albert Park was the first Grand Prix of the 21st century. The racing centre was alive with restuarants and fans of Ferrari after this years race. Albert Park is one of the best Sporting and Recreation centres of today. |
| Albert Park is famous for the screaming FORMULA ONE GRAND PRIX. Formula One can be heard up to thirty kilometers away? You must wear ear plugs or you can get very sore ears from all the noise. The winners were FERRARI. The diver was MICHAEL Schumarker. Jaguar were very confident of winning, although they had no luck. | FORMULA ONE![]() |
