Grades 1 and 2:

Children in Grades 1 and 2 found all their information about the Warrandyte by visiting the many different local attractions, which included The Potters cottage, The shops, The Yarra River and orchards. They used some pamphlets from the Information Centre about Potters Cottage, Friends of the Warrandyte State Park and a pamphlet from Aumman's orchard.

Grades 3 and 4:

Information was gathered from the children's visit to Canberra and the many attrations that were visited when there. They gathered pamphlets from The House of Representatives and The Senate at Parliament House, The War Memorial, Telstra Tower, The Australian Institute of Sport, Questacon at the National Science and Technology Centre, The National Capital Planning Centre, Old Parliament House, The Royal Mint, The Electoral Education Centre, The Parliamentary Education Office and the office of Mr Kevin Andrews, MHR for the seat of Deakin who can be contacted at Kevin.Andrews.MP@aph.gov.au Additional resources are also available from the Parliamentary Education Centres in each state of Australia, The Australian War Memorial Education Services and the Discovering Democracy books from the Curriculum Corporation.
