Mount Kosciusko is the biggest mountain in Australia. Mount Kosciusko is 2,228 metres or 7,310 feet high. A Polish man called Tadeusz Andrdzej found Mount Kosciusko. Mount Kosciusko is in southern New South Wales, close to the Victorian border in the Australian Alps. Mount Kosciusko was formed by two plates which were pushed together in the ground. It gradually formed its shape and size into Mount Kosciusko.

Mt. Kosciusko.

When the snow melts on Mount Kosciusko, it forms a little creek that runs down the side of Mount Kosciusko. The creeks turn into Snowy River.
Kosciusko National Park has an area of 6,500 sq. km or 2,510 sq. miles and includes most of the Snowy Mountains Region.
It is well known in Australia, because people often go there in winter to go snowboarding or skiing. People visit it in summer to go bushwalking, mountain climbing to look at the magnificent views and sometimes they have parties and weddings.
There are many wild flowers all over Mount Kosciusko in the summer time.
