The Vic Market's History

The Vic Market's name is really. The Queen Victoria Market, named after Queen Victoria of England. The Queen Victoria Market was officially opened on 20th March 1878. Many of the buildings at the market are classified as Historic Buildings. This will preserve its heritage and future.
