WALTER MAGILTON by Grade 1/2R

Artists come to Warrandyte to live so they can draw pictures of the Yarra River. They came to paint lots of things in the bush. There are birds and ducks on the river.

Walter is an artist. He lives in Warrandyte he likes to paint boats, his art studio is also in Warrandyte and his friend is an aboriginal and he uses oil paints. His friend also paints too and he likes to paint portraits.

Walter Magilton is an artist who lives in Warrandyte. He came to our school and drew some pictures for us.

	Walter Magilton is a famous artist from Warrandyte. Walter has a friend called Lance Whitefield. Lance sometimes does the outside of the painting and Walter does the inside of the painting. Walter does seascapes, landscapes, still life and portraits. Walter put one of his panting in the Warrandyte Festival Art Show and he won because it was the best painting.
