| Bert Newton is well known as Bert 'Moon face Newton'. Bert
Newton was born on the 23rd of July 1938. Bert began his career in
1956,the same year that television was launched in Australia, which his
fist job to be with channel seven in Melbourne. He also started on the radio
when he was 16. Bert started on channel nine. Bert Newton has won three gold Logies because people liked the things he did on TV. In 1975 Bert became compare of the Nine Networks show New Faces , which was on air for 22 years. Bert Newton was on The Don Lane Show from 1975-1983.Bert's father died in 1981. His father died in the World War eleven. Bert's dad died when Bert was eleven |

Recently Burt Newton was in the musical Wizard of Oz , Beauty and the Beast, and The Sound of Music. Bert's wife is a singer and dancer, her name is Patti Newton. They got married on the ninth of November 1974 Bert Newton has two children called Mathew and Lauren. Bert's career has been recognized with an incredible collection of awards. He has earned a reputation as Australia's Premier Master of Ceremonies for special events on television and has hosted the Logie Awards a record eighteen times.
