John Farnham is a famous Australian singer. His career goes over 30 years and he is still amazing audiences with his fantastic voice.  
He was born at Millend Hospital in south England on the 1st of July 1949. In 1959 he migrated from England to Melbourne, Victoria, Australia when he was 10 years old. 
John Farnham went to Lindale Primary school. He sometimes would perform at the school assembly.
As he got older he started to worked at the Ford Motor plant in Melbourne, assembling cars and tractors.  He became famous after he recorded the song, "Sadie the Cleaning Lady."

        

 

John was also in the "MAVERICKS" they played at parties and local halls. 
John Farnham was named the Australian of the Year in  1987. He was in the "Little River Band" as the lead singer and after a lot of success he left and started singing on his own and became very famous around Australia. John is managed by Glen Wheatley.
He has also written some songs including: The Fire, Age of Reason, Chain Reaction, Burn for you, Some do some Don't, Time and Money, See the Banners Fall, Beyond the Call, Burn Down the Night, You're the Voice Charlie Girl, Day by Day, Two Strong Hearts, Sadie the Cleaning Lady, Help, Every Time You Cry, Matilda, Jillie's Song, Everything's Alright, with more to come.

He has toured with lots of other people who include,

Jimmy Barns, Olivia Newton-John, Anthony Warlow, Human Nature and the  Nanna-Zhami group which includes his son.

There are four people in John's family, John, his wife Jilly and their two sons. His eldest son is in the NANNA ZHAMI group and toured with John in the "Can't Believe" Tour. 

He loves to go horse riding and he brings Jilly along most of the time. He likes to go fishing with his sons.
