| Tania Kernaghan is important because she is a famous Australian
Country and Western singer. Tania was born 1968 and she was raised
in Albury. Tania had an early start in showbiz at the age of
6, when she was singing vocals in Lee's Band, The Big
Blue Devils. She left school in 1986 and formed her own band. She made her first single,
"I'll Be Gone",
in 1992 and her first album "December Moon", in January 1996. Tania won 3 awards
in 1997. She won Female Vocal at the C.M.M.A Awards, Album of the Year
for "December Moon" and Vocal Collaboration for "A Bushman Can't
Survive".
In 1999 Tania released her second album, "Dancing on the Water" and toured Australia to promote the CD. |
