Mandwuy Yunupingu is the lead singer of the band Yothi Yindi. He was Born in the Northern Territory. He grew up wanting to be a teacher. when he grew up his dream came true and be came a teacher. he taught the way of the white and black and later on he became the first aboriginal school principal. When he left teaching he joined the band Yothi Yindi and during his corer he won the Australian of the year award. His songs hope to improve the life of aborigines. he is married and has 6 draughts. 

This is a yidaki (digeridoo), it is one of the most popular instrument in aboriginal music. It is being played by Makuma Yunupingu.
